Meditation Made Simple
Everything You Need to Meditate You Already Have
In this 2 hour workshop, you'll learn how to pay attention to what you already are and have differently, in a way that actually creates space and energy in your life rather than taking it.
Meditation is just that: paying attention in different way than you have before to your embodied experience. This includes thoughts, sensations, breath - the whole thing.
The point is not to do it perfectly; it is to practice.
You will not be taught to clear your mind: clarity is a byproduct of practicing these two things:
- choosing your focus (concentration)
- focusing on the field rather than what it contains.
You might want to meditate for stress relief, for wellness, because you saw it do wonders for a friend or loved one, or maybe you've just always been curious.
With this course you'll receive:
- 30 Daily Meditation Readings you can use to jump start your practice
- 5 Different Techniques you can use to cultivate your focus and concentration
- Trouble shooting ideas for when you are tired or too anxious
- Instructions for choosing your sitting position (or choosing not to sit)
- An audio of a live "Yoga + Meditation" Workshop
- Access to your true self (ok, you have to practice for that part.)
I share the most effective tools I've found for focus, balance, strength and stress reduction in classes designed to give you the tools you need to act from your most authentic, healthy self, even in the most stressful situations.
I am trained in Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Raja and am Core Strength Vinyasa and Yoga Shred influenced and inspired - all styles of Hatha Yoga. These "flavors" influence my personal practice and the practice that I share with you. My previous life as a paramedic allows an intimate understanding of the anatomy and physiology that guides every class, pose, technique that I share with you.
You don't have to be flexible - or anything else - to do yoga: yoga helps you become those things.
